The ‘Carrie’ style name necklace is such a lame fashion cliché but internet acronyms blatantly override that so when I saw this MASSIVE OMG necklace in Topshop, I insta-picked it up. Thankfully I knew I’d made the right decision because Rachael told me she’d also spied it and she is queen of internet LOLZ. I can’t find it on their site anywhere, but I bought it IRL upstairs by one of the tills last week, I swear!
It also reminds me of a piece my friend and Magazine Machine art correspondent Giselle wanted to make. A gold Argos name necklace with the item code as the name, such beautiful, simple amazingness.
I kind of want these earrings as well, but you’d have to come up with an amazing word coupling for them. Something like Cat/Dog (srsly, which are you? Loyal or fickle, independent or needy? You can’t be both) or Mac/PC, or Fish/Chips. Those are all rubbish ideas so I’m going to hold out till I can come up with a brilliant pairing… How about Dot/Cotton? I love her.
