The Peony Pavillion

I love peonies, they lack the stylised fluted shape of a rose, but the flower heads are so fullsome and abundant it more than makes up for it. Magda Indigo’s beautifully shot images of peonies capture that lavish bounty, but with a stark darkness. I almost wish I could eat them, if that makes sense? Excuse me while I go have a *private moment* with some flowers.

Lovely choice of Magda’s peonies. I may have made a mistake in our email communication but the website address in your caption is incorrect. It should be wwww.indigo2photography.co.uk (not .com).

Delighted you like the images and thanks for asking before publishing.

    Good luck with your magazine.
    All the best,
    Paul
