The Versace X H&M collaboration has been much hyped and quite deservedly so. Donatella and the gang obviously picked up on the huge demand for vintage Versace and produced a collection which seems like a ‘best of’ Versace through the years. I’m not a big wearer of flashy stuff at the moment, blame the French invasion but I’m so down with adding a judicious blast of Versace to pep up a basic outfit. These are my favourite pieces from the collection, obviously the leather is out of this world amazing, but for longevity and wearability (such horrible words) I would go for some extreme print tight trousers. All you need is some ankle boots, a button-up and angora jumper for a perfectly easy and adorable winter outfit. The vista skirt is similarly assimilatable, a little splash of ridiculousness is wonderful from time to time.
Queues have been snaking round the Oxford Circus branch of H&M since last night, but I’m opting to write this post from the comfort of home. I’ll be making a trip into town later today to see what is left post-bunfight, I’ve totally got my eye on the pink side-zip trousers.
