Unlike Harlequin, I’d never been to Smock in Dublin. I happily stumbled across this shop walking around the Powerscourt/St Georges street area and immediately fell in love with it. Smock operate under the tagline ‘we stock what we like’ and you do feel the love coming out of the pieces hanging on the rails. The co-owner, Susan is a total fashion kindred spirit, carrying some of my favourite labels like A Détacher, Won Hundred, APC and Tata Naka. It’s like someone crawled into my brain and had away with all my secret fashion crushes.
I had a good natter with Susan about labels, running stores and fashion in Dublin, Smock is definitely the kind of store when you can nip in for a browse and a chat. Their Facebook page is pretty good at keeping you updated with latest pieces in stock and lovely lookbook shots.
