It’s that time of year that more often than not I get home from a days of meetings and errands and my face has morphed into a wonderfully shiny ball. Clay masks are so lovely for clearing off all the gunk and sweat that builds up on your face and refining your pores. A’kin’s Purifying Facial Masque is a traditional clay mask but with skin softening extras and a lovely cardamom-ish smell which comes from lemongrass and cedarwood essential oils.
I’m already a big fan of their uber gentle Intensive Moisture Complex and this proved to be just as much of a beauty essential. It’s pretty quick-acting, with just 5-10 minutes to dry so you can easily fit it into your morning routine. I just put it on after my shower, while I’m brushing my teeth and putting on body moisturiser, easy.
