Design Junction in a Riyka Dress

Riyka recently lent me one of their pieces and I chose this patchwork shift dress. I love their easygoing, playful designs, it feels kind of sporty, not too girly and packs a bit of ‘tude. Working from home a lot of the time, I’ve developed a real appreciation for clothes you can just fling on without too much fuss, I teamed this with my Linus cycle bag and some New Look creeper-style lace-ups. Oh and their ‘about’ section features a gif. Yusss.

The angular shapes and mix of denim, grey marl sweatshirt fabric and leather (favesies) was pretty much the perfect outfit for a trip to the Design Junction Exhibition with my wee sis. We had a wander round and a look at the various exhibits, inc the ultra cool Tokyo Cycles stand but the real reason was to pay a visit to Canteen’s Tfl collaboration, it was fantastic. I told you I was obsessed with trains.
