My feet at the Designers’ Collective pop-up Recently I went to Bicester Village for the launch of their ChicBuzz magazine and app. On the day I participated in a livetweet session where the Rebecca Tay, ChicBuzz ed fielded all manner of style-related Qs to me to answer. Here’s an expanded version of my answers from the [...] Just a month ago, (it feels much longer!) LOOK featured me in their mag along with the lovely Jo Payton aka Fashion Detective. She shared with me some of these cool behind the scenes pics from the day. My biggest memory was how cold it was, it took two hours and a Brick Lane curry [...] There’s a reason the Flickr group ‘Corners of my room’ is just corners, I recently snapped some pics of my room as (fingers crossed everything goes through) we’ll be moving soon and I wanted to catch some things, like when the morning light at about 11.20 catches my Alberta Ferretti dress and seems to shine [...] I recently was offered the opportunity to visit Brussels and I took it with both hands. I’ve heard a lot of great things about this town and I wasn’t disappointed. Belgians are like the best bits of the French without the attitude problem, I can say that because y’know, I am French. We were treated to a stay in Hotel Bloom in Brussels which despite its huge size still manages to retain a boutique feel. It’s down to touches like the unique artwork in every room and free water in the minibar. My room was really spacious and laid out in a way that gives you a little bit of living space.
I’m definitely gearing up to a Mexico/NY set of of posts, but in the meantime here’s a quick set of pics from a friend’s birthday weekend in the country. The Devon coast is unreal, beautiful hills that give way to endless sea. Totally in love.
Excuse the hollow-eyed look, I’ve not quite got the hang of GMT just yet, my body seems to want dinner at 3am. I’ve been pretty much wearing this outfit on and off for the last week, kind of gross huh? My sleep-deprived brain can’t be bothered to come up with anything else and the cashmere/silk combo is really useful for both cosiness and unexpected cycle-sweats.
My second installment from Paris, Paco Rabanne sent me over the channel to celebrate their Black XS perfume and teach me how to be a rockstar. We stayed in the lovely Mama Shelter hotel which you can see here. We were taken to a rocking venue La Maroquinerie where we were treated to the slightly unsettling experience of being a rockstar, complete with paps shouting your name. Gwynnie I feel your pain, call me. Super quick pick this week as I’m running out the door, I’ve got a ton more Kate Spade pics coming soon, the new store looks UHmazing.
I don’t really wear foundation, but Aveda’s Inner Light tinted moisturiser is light enough to wear everyday and it has SPF. It’s non-greasy as well, so I can wear it and not get a sweaty mirror/forehead. Bonus. Benefit’s Porefessional is a bit of a miracle product, it’s a silicon based mattifier/pore refiner which gives an unreal soft focus glow to your skin.  |
