The Rupert Sanderson press day is always a serene thing of beauty, their lovely press office tucked away in a mews off Bond Street feels a million miles away from the madness of Soho and Oxford Street. Elegant heels is what Rupert Sanderson do best and there were definitely a few pairs that ticked the boxes, [...] Excuse the hollow-eyed look, I’ve not quite got the hang of GMT just yet, my body seems to want dinner at 3am. I’ve been pretty much wearing this outfit on and off for the last week, kind of gross huh? My sleep-deprived brain can’t be bothered to come up with anything else and the cashmere/silk combo is really useful for both cosiness and unexpected cycle-sweats.
Still catching up on posts from the last few months workathon, how is it almost June?! One of the things that slipped through my blogger-net was Bertie‘s blogger event. An evening dedicated to previewing their shoes< I had a hard time choosing a favourite pair, I’m a confirmed fan of the high street’s version of [...] Tons of gorgeously polished heels on offer at the recent Rupert Sanderson press day but the ones that really got me were the blue suede loafers with double bullet charms, totally killer shoes. I tried them on and they feel like heaven on your foot, I’m not sure what kind of shoe-voodoo is going in [...] Aussie brand Emu have come to London for the month of May, at a beautifully VM’ed pop-up shop on Lamb’s Conduit Street. As a sheepskin-shoe skeptic I wasn’t entirely convinced, but I spotted their desert boots in this month’s Elle and it got me feeling a bit more generous to the sheepskin genus of shoe [...] I knew I was going to get the black versions of these New Look lace-ups, especially after seeing Fur Coat in them a few weekends ago. I also went crazy and got the leopard print pair, maybe it was wearing my tie dye tights all days that gave me a little reckless feeling. They’re light [...] I’ve spent a lot of time looking for party decoration inspiration for my birthday next week. Most of my attention has been focused at the Confetti System’s beautiful garlands, their colour schemes are just brilliant.
