Gothenburg was another exciting chance to catch up with and Internet Friend, namely the amazing Fiona who had just made the move over a few weeks ago. Some people I’ve met through blogging have become IRL friends and Fiona is one of those people, a total meeting of moron minds, she’s so lovely and has [...]
This is what I’m calling my fancy outfit, aka vaguely more dressed up than usual. I’m really really into how my Nike Frees go with anything, I’d usually wear this outfit with smarter shoes, like my silver ones, but it totally works with the trainers and gives it a more modern look.
Uniqlo knitwear is [...]
Planning a full Venice post, but here’s a gif of some of my favourite moments. The Biennale was great, the two highlights that nearly made me cry were S.S. Hangover by Ragnar Kjartansson, a beautiful piece featuring a brass band on a boat and Jeremy Deller’s British Pavillion which included the English Magic video.
This week has been mostly spent prepping for, or being in Copenhagen for fashion week. I’ve been riding bikes with my bud Fiona, seeing all the collections up close at Forum and Vision, eating a ton o food and discovering black pepper in g&ts.
Also been taking some pics of all the very cool Danes, [...]
Just before Christmas I was invited to take a look at Reiss’ SS13 collection, the light, drapey fabrics, fresh colours and mouthwatering prints were a welcome respite from super heavy knits, coats and scarves…
The Reiss team asked a handful of Handpicked (lol intended) bloggers including Disneyrollergirl, South Molton Style, Carina100 and SW Fashion to [...]
Somewhere floating around You Tube is a really old video of me and La Rue impersonating a camel, it was in relation to a camel-coloured pair of shoes, but camels also excel at eyelashes. I’m a bit too much of a hippy to put glue on my eyelids and get extensions and too lazy to [...]
Practical, roomy and slightly androgynous, what’s not to love about the tote bag? Tote bags are really pushing my buttons as my favourite bag shape, something about the way it hangs unassumingly by your side, not to mention the practicality factor.
The humble shopper is pretty much all I carry around at nowadays, my colourpop [...]
You may have picked up on my love of oysters, I’m kind of obsessed. The best ones I ever had were from Maison Premiere in New York but I’ll happily eat UK rock and natives till the cows come home. Invited to learn how to shuck oysters, I jumped at the chance to visit The [...]
Posting your Instagram pics is un petit peu vom, but anyone who follows me on Instagram will have seen me doing some pre-shoot dicking around on Monday night with an Izabel shirt. I’ve called Izabel in a few times for shoots, they’re a decently-priced label where you can easily ferret out a lesser-spotted gem [...]
You know when you get a concerned phone call from your mum about the lack of posts on your blog that it’s been a while. I’ve just come through the other side of a crazy three-week stint packed of shoots, in-house work, writing assignments and weekends chocka with family visits and most excitingly… weddings!
