Vogue’s Fashion Night Out was a bit of a whistlestop tour for me, but I still had a brilliant time checking out what everyone had to offer. My idea of a nightmare is Oxford Street on a Saturday, so it was with a bit of trepidation that I set out. I found myself wandering down Old Bond St just after sundown, it was balmy weather, the street was closed and all the crowds were milling around like a mediterranean town and I thought “ahhh, lovely”.
Dress and shoes, New Look The good thing about work is when you get a last-minute invite to an exciting party and you’re wearing jeggings and a shirt, you can nip down to the press room and borrow a fantastic dress for the evening. I’m wearing a panelled black lace/sheer dress (which I totally want to [...] I’ve obviously got hair on the brain this week, after looking at Rachael’s new hair tumblr, then watching ‘Good Hair’, the srsllement brilliant Chris Rock docu and now Kirsten McMenamy’s long and lustrous locks in Vogue. I have a bit of a thing for grey hair, completely grey hair is so cool. There used to [...] Peter Som is apparently heading to Tommy Hilfiger. Vogue covered the story this morning, saying that he will be going for a part-time position as creative consultant. I’m not really familiar with him as a designer, but his latest collection is a beaut.
