Every once in a while I have a creepy, low-voiced, ‘I want that’ moment about something and it’s a kind of deep primal urge to go out and buy the thing that has caught my eye.
Today it’s Sandra Backlund‘s gently ruffled top from her SS10 collection because it’s the kind of piece that would transform anything you wear into super amazing. Just imagine wearing an everyday boring floral dress, put that on top and it’s insta-magic. You can kind of lose yourself in it, a bit like when you look out of a plane window and you see all the fluffy clouds. Also it’s a little stormtroopers/Queen Padme mashup which is never a bad thing at all. Zooming in the fabric is a light loosley woven jersey which would be lovely to wear in the summer. So there you go, no stockists yet but mark my words pretty top, I will have you.
