Thanks to Rachael, and by extension Twineth, for alerting me to how good Radley shoes are at the moment. At a press day today instead of ambling past I made a beeline for the shoes and yes, they are as good as the summer collection.
Chunky-heeled lace ups in dirty lime and black have that Heartbeat chic retro thing going on sans le mustiness, and the platform sole high heels are a little bit like the stitched moccasin heels Celine did, I think from a couple of years back. I do love the heels, but the flats are where it’s at for me. A rich purple brogue with a kiltie? Check. Flat tan loafers with patent accents? Yeeeaap. That’s what I’m talking about, (BWC take note). Unfortch I was dashing out the door and couldn’t find a PR to interrogate on who the mystery design team are and why they’re so good but Radley shoes, you didn’t hear it here first.
