Digital agency Dare have this cool semi-exposed office called the Nook, which they like to use as a space for artists and creatives to do their thing.
The last installation that really made my head turn was Jiggery Pokery‘s amazing room of charity shop find and glamourous junk. Obvs I fell in love with the glittery, shiny and altogether amazing exhibition of tat.
More recently I stopped in my tracks in front of Chrissie Abbott’s interpretation of the room. To cut a long story short, I want one of her prints. Stat. More specifically, I want the lightbox below which, should you wander to Wells St in London, you can go and see for yourself. Isn’t it amazing?
Having just moved to a new house, (which I’m sure I’ll moan about at some point soon) I’m getting into interiors blogs, print buying and paint shades and will have to splash out on one of her prints. You can buy a selection of her work from Vetika, but what I really want to know is when is this one for sale?! Answers on a postcard.
