Street style at London Fashion Week confirmed the statement trouser as the style choice for the workhorse crew. The fact that you’re wearing tailored trousers screams ‘I’m here for srs bizness!’ but choosing a pair with a wacked out print confirms your fashion credentials. Teamed with a jumper and heels it’s an easy peasy daytime look that is actually quite practical for this almost-spring weather and cleverly negates the need for a bare legs/tights debate.
Viviana Volpicella does the all-over pyjama look which is totally BOT but a bit hard to translate in the IRL world. Caroline Issa and Olivia Palermo both demonstrate effortless versions of this trend, Olivia’s Topshop trousers are pretty much sold out, but I’ve had a little scour to select my favourite floral and printed trews.
