Mexico Mems pt2

I’m looking out my window right now and it’s raining, tomorrow it will rain and the next day looks like rain too. This is my final belated Mexico post, so feast your eyes on gorgeous tacos, moonlit beaches, tasty ceviche and try to forget about this joke summer.     UGH this looks so amazing. I really want to go to Mexico, but everything seems so resorty, and all-inclusive keeps coming in cheaper than just a regular hotel stay! I don’t want rubbish hotel food, I want genuine Mexican feasts!

    What time of year did you go? It looks perfect.

    Oh, I literally cannot wait to get away this Summer, you’d never believe it was June to look out the window! This was the perfect little chunk of escapism though, it looks beautiful, especially the one of you lying in the sea, that beach looks heavenly!

    I did have to pinch myself and thought ‘do people like me go on holidays like this?’ So idyllic, especially with our consistently disappointing weather…

    I went in September, I think it’s just off the tourist season. Cancun is mega resorty, but you might be able to find a short rental or sublet.

    I guess even if you go all-inc just make sure you have a car so you can leave the main strip and you’ll have a great time.
