You know when you get a concerned phone call from your mum about the lack of posts on your blog that it’s been a while. I’ve just come through the other side of a crazy three-week stint packed of shoots, in-house work, writing assignments and weekends chocka with family visits and most excitingly… weddings!
My friends Sarah and Lloyd got married last weekend in a lovely place in Vauxhall decorated with flags and a 90s RnB playlist to die for, it was an achingly charming day with great friends. I say achingly, because I woke the next day stiff and sore from all the dancing. Thanks for the printed tea towels guys! Here’s my outfit, in gif form, obviously.
Top: NY thrift store, trousers c/o Warehouse, shoes: Massimo Dutti, handbag: Chiswick Car Boot Sale, blazer (in hand): Zara, sunglasses: Oxfam, watch c/o Guess.
I wasn’t in a dress mood for this wedding, so I wore a pair of lovely geo-print trousers from Warehouse and ancient trusty heels from Massimo Dutti. They’re not too high so perfect for dancing all night! The sequin top was a hangover purchase in Williamsburg after a particularly boozy night out in New York, it’s stood me in good stead for parties and evenings out. My Zara blazer never lets me down, I always grab it on the way out to formal stuff.
