Breton me up Scotty

Substitute the skirt for a pair of jeans and you’ve got my everyday working from home outfit right there. Not to say that I’m in a rut or anything, but I’m wearing a lot of the same kind of stuff at the moment. Having a post-house move edited wardrobe, or what Fashionising are called the [...]

Sunday Sundries

This blog is becoming rather food-heavy at the moment, which is no bad thing but I do have a stack of fashion posts lined up for this week to even things out a little. Caphe House on Bermondsey Street is a great find, fantastic quality Vietnamese food for a more than decent price. I had [...]

Bank holidaying

Cardigan: Uniqlo / Shirt: InWear / Trousers: Cos / Shoes: car boot / Bracelets: vintage

This bank holiday I set off to Henley for a bit of charity-shopping and I managed to snag a real old-fashioned haul of joy. I’m talking banana-leg Margaret Howell chinos, Ferragamo heels and a lacy pair of ’90s slipper [...]

Treats

The last few weeks months have been so crazily busy at work, lo-oong insane days going from one task to the next without looking. The other day I cut loose and went on a much-needed treat hunt. First stop COS, bien sur, where I picked up this sweet sweatshirt with a printed panel. I’ve been wearing it with pretty summer skirts and jeans and it’s already a firm favourite.

Wedageddon

This weekend one of my close friends got married, and as weird as I think weddings are this one was pretty cool. DJ on the gramaphone decks anyone? The bride wore a handmade yellow ra-ra dress, pretty special even without the yellow and white WAH mani. I’m not really sure what the beef is but [...]

The Christmas Haul pt2

The second part of my childlike present excitement, I guess being vocal about the things you like and having the memory of a goldfish makes for really great surprises.

I got a vest top proclaiming my love for the Eerie Indiana star Omri Katz, if you’ve seen his latest work you’ll know that he’s more creepy [...]

Becoming Fantastic

Did I miss the memo which said that all magazines had to look like Fantastic Man? Pictured left, Elle Collections, and right, Cos’ in-house mag.
The simple sans serif typeface, framed full-size pics and centre aligned headers are all too familiar. Apparently Fantastic Man took their inspiration from ’70s issues of Western Living, I’d love to [...]

Cos I love you!

cos heels

What’s the first thing you do when you get made redundant? Go shoe-shopping obviously. COS made me do it, they just make the most covetable kooky minimal clothes on the high street (srsly I was ready to buy a skirt and top as well) as well as having ridiculous sales (70% off? Mais oui).
