Not since me and my schoolfriends all wanted a silver Nice And Safe Attitude jacket -two sizes too big with orange lining thankyouvermuch- have I really given much thought about the bomber, but now that the biker is veering from classic to overexposed my money’s firmly on the bomber. I like the adrogynous shape which [...]
Tweed or bouclé jackets never really went away, Chanel’s classic version has ensured that the nubbly trophy jacket is never far from the catwalk. This season though tweed jackets are really having a moment, tapping into the revamped retro trend. Nearly every high-street retailer and designer has produced a version for the season, so I [...]
‘Karl’, the new range by Karl Lagerfeld conceived especially for NET A PORTER was launched yesterday at their Westfield offices. The range is quite classic, with a base of hi-shine fabrics in silver lamé, sequins and wet-look. Classic tailoring is given the Karl touch with shirts, tuxedo-style jackets and carrot-leg trousers.

Vogue’s Fashion Night Out was a bit of a whistlestop tour for me, but I still had a brilliant time checking out what everyone had to offer. I’ve spent a lot of time looking for party decoration inspiration for my birthday next week. Most of my attention has been focused at the Confetti System’s beautiful garlands, their colour schemes are just brilliant. Sherbet-y pastels mixed with sludgy neutrals and metallics is something everyone can get on board with and I think I [...]
I came across these Nadav Kander pictures on Krisatomic and was a little bowled over. The colours, and washed out, humid atmosphere that you only seem to get in East Asia. Everything softly muted and slightly dulled.
It made me want to pick out a few clothes following this muted palette, with simple neutral pieces [...]
